QVS Twin Cities Winter Event: Virtual Alumni Panel

Join us to learn more about Quaker Voluntary Service! We have a vibrant program in the Minneapolis / St. Paul area — in its 4th year!
On February 2nd, we will hear from local and national QVS alums about life after the QVS year, and what the impact of this experience has been for these young adults.
The event will also include some national staff and local support committee members talking about the program, a little entertainment, and a chance to talk in smaller breakout groups over zoom. We will share how you can support the program financially, but our purpose is to give Friends a chance to get a feel for what this experience means for young adult participants.

Stories of Service: QVS Alumni Panel Recording
The Philadelphia QVS Local Support Committee hosted a special QVS Alumni Panel, which featured four young adults who served in QVS and currently live and work in the Philadelphia area. Panelists shared about the transformational experience of QVS, and how they are engaged in spiritually-grounded service and community today.

Spirit in Action
Last year, three current Fellows and a QVS Alum sat down and shared their stories with Spirit In Action, a weekly radio program. They shared reflections about discerning vocation, why they chose to do QVS, and the impact of living in intentional community with strangers.
