QVS invites you to the Fourth Annual Supporters’ Briefing! We hope you’ll join us virtually for updates and conversation on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, 7pm ET / 6pm CT / 5pm MT / 4pm PT.
We’re in a dynamic time at Quaker Voluntary Service—things have changed in the world and thus we’re considering shifts in response. Damon Motz-Storey, Clerk of the Board of Directors, and Hilary Burgin, QVS’ Executive Director, will provide grounding in the work of QVS in the last year, the questions we hold now, and visioning for the future. We recommend reading Damon’s recent Epistle to provide more context.
As a Quaker organization, we are deeply rooted in the understanding that each person has Truth to offer to the community when we’re looking for the right way forward. We want to hear from you and be present together. We will have opportunities in break-out rooms for you to share your thoughts and feelings about some of the Big Questions we have.
