Meet QVS Recruiters

Christina (she/her)

Christina (she/her)

West-Coast Recruiter

Christina lived in San Jose, California for 15 years before QVS brought her to Portland, Oregon in 2020. She found Quakerism through a youtube video (of all places) and now regularly attends and volunteers at Multnomah Monthly Meeting. Christina’s site placement during her QVS year was L’arche Portland where she worked with disabled individuals and advocated for systemic changes in Disability Justice.

Annika (they/them)

Annika (they/them)

East-Coast Recruiter

Annika is a freshly baked 2020-2021 QVS Fellow serving in Philadelphia at Pennsylvania Health Access Network. Annika was raised strictly atheist but fell in love with Quakerism at their alma mater, Guilford College, the southern-most Quaker college located in Greensboro, NC. They’re settled in Philadelphia for now, just eight minutes away from their former home at the Philly QVS house.
