Thanks to a generous donor family, through July 31, 2020, all gifts from or in honor of individual QVS alumni will be matched up to $20,000.

We’re excited that both contributions from Alumni themselves and gifts made in their honor will be matched in full. This challenge doubles the impact of new contributions and incentivizes re-engagement from past Alumni-affiliated supporters. Furthermore, we hope to use this as an opportunity to invest in the capacity of our Alumni network to support us in cultivating these connections.

To reach the challenge we will need gifts of all sizes — from one-time annual gifts to monthly sustaining contributions.

donors have already contributed over $18,000 in total towards the match's goal.

As a young organization, Fellow and Alumni fundraising has been a crucial way to broaden our network of support each year. During their fellowship year, Fellows have been encouraged and moved to invite their families, friends, and home meetings/churches to support QVS.

Since our founding, we have supported over 165 young adults in their spiritual and professional growth.

As our Alumni cohort continues to grow, we get the chance to see farther along the horizon of our program’s impact. We are proud that roughly one in four Fellows are offered full-time jobs with their site placements following their fellowship year. Meanwhile other Fellows work at Quaker institutions like Earlham College, tech companies in NYC and non-profit print magazines in Detroit, and attend graduate school for social work, law, and medicine. The QVS program equips young adults with skills in vocational discernment and practicing their faith in community. Many Alumni are still engaged with local meetings, becoming members and sitting on committees, and offering feedback on making a more welcoming environment for other young adults.

We are proud of each QVS Alum and hope you will honor their hard work and journey by making a contribution in their name!

Contributions may be made as a monthly or annual gift, through a gift of stock, or with planned giving options.

Be sure to indicate which QVS Alum you are honoring by including their name in the gift’s memo.

“I support QVS with my time and money because the early 20’s are hard, really hard, and I want other young adults to have the same generous, loving support I did.”
